Mr. Yeo holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and has over 15 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. He began as a Fund Specialist at Royal Bank Canada (RBC), specializing in diversified derivatives and fund performance projection.

Progressing his career, he joined the AmBank Group as a Risk Model Specialist, responsible for assessing models, analysing assumptions, and ensuring effective governance.

Seeking a deeper understanding of consumer needs, Mr. Yeo joined OCBC Bank, where he managed risk portfolios and developed risk analytics for credit policies, risk distribution, and bank performance. He excelled in, optimizing risk or reward equations, identifying opportunities, and mitigating risks.

Since 2016, he has been the Group Investment Director at a private equity company, overseeing diverse business interests in banking, finance, capital management, property development, and technology-driven sectors.  As the Executive Director at ConnectCounty Holdings Berhad, he focuses on restructuring, diversification, and corporate exercises. Mr. Yeo’s expertise and strategic acumen drive key investment decisions, shaping the future of the company.

In 2023, he serves as the Managing Director cum CEO in Arkwood Trustee (M) Berhad, providing visionary leadership and developing corporate strategies to position the organization competitively in the market.

Evan Yap is a finance professional with a strong focus on asset structuring, estate planning, and cross-border financial solutions. With nearly a decade of experience across multiple segments of the financial industry, he has built his career around helping clients navigate complex wealth, succession, and investment matters with clarity and responsibility.

Evan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing Management from the University of Sunderland and presently serves as a Director of Arkwood Trustee (M) Berhad.

He began his professional journey in 2017 in business development, working with a diverse range of financial products—including mutual funds, equities, fixed income instruments, insurance solutions, and retirement schemes. His subsequent venture into insurance industry, where he achieved multiple MDRT qualifications, further strengthened his foundation in risk management and advisory work.

In 2021, Evan became a founding member of an estate planning advisory firm that later established itself as a recognised reference point in the industry. Over the years, He has contributed to the development of several financial services businesses, including corporate solutions, financing platforms, and a Singapore-based Variable Capital Company (VCC) structure. Evan also serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of a licensed investment bank, where he supports infrastructure development, governance planning, and strategic partnerships.

As a Director of Arkwood Trustee (M) Berhad, Evan supports the organisation’s mission by combining his multidisciplinary background in structuring, advisory, and cross-border finance, ensuring that clients receive solutions that are responsible, well-considered, and aligned with long-term objectives.
